The St. Croix Trail Cabin

The relaxing and comfortable new St. Croix Trail Cabin opened in August, 2001, and is now available year-round. It's nestled alone in the woods on a separate parcel of property near the beginning of Kimball Lake Resort's half-mile private drive, only a quarter-mile drive or hike to the resort grounds. It's just one-tenth mile to the public landing on Lower Kimball Lake, and boat and motor rentals are available on a daily or weekly basis at Kimball Lake Resort as well as other resorts on nearby lakes. The more modern amenities make this an ideal get-away cabin when fishing is not the priority. It's a great alternative to a motel room for fall color travelers and snowmobilers will have excellent access to the local trail on St. Croix Trail Rd.
