Kimball Lake Resort is a small housekeeping resort located in a beautiful wooded area near Minong, Wis., in the northwest corner of Washburn County. Our four traditional lakeshore cabins are surrounded by mature oaks and pines on sloping terrain overlooking nearly 600 feet of shoreline on Lower Kimball Lake.
The Kimball Lake chain totals about 275 acres of clear, spring-fed waters and offers our guests good fishing opportunities on quiet lakes for bass, crappies and bluegills. The lakes are posted as "voluntary" low-speed lakes to help protect the quiet northwoods atmosphere, and we do not permit water skiing, jet skiing or tubing from the resort.
A small sandy beach area with a swim float offers our guests a chance to cool off on hot days. There's plenty of room to roam with hiking trails throughout the 139 acres of private wooded land surrounding the cabins.

All have full baths with showers, refrigerators, gas ranges, coffee makers, charcoal grills and TVs with local network only. ♦ Cabin rentals includes the use of one fishing boat and a private dock. Motors and extra boats are available for rent on a daily or weekly basis. A pontoon boat may be rented by the hour or day. Gas-oil mix available on site. |
